A couple of months ago I discovered a new magazine (oh great...just what I need...but no, wait, this is really cool!) created and published in England called Mollie Makes.
This is my latest purchase. Most of the issues come with a fun item to make.
This month the giveaway is this cute little oilcloth coin purse. And I can't wait to make it, I NEED one!
Most of the items necessary to complete the project are contained in an envelope on the front of the magazine and the directions inside.
One of my most favorite things about the magazine is the way the pages feel - sort of like satin - your hand glides easily over the page and you can almost fool yourself into thinking you are touching the items on the page. The pages are a nice weight and filled with beautiful photos.
There is a wide variety of articles each month from crocheting to decorating tips. I find it quite interesting as well as entertaining, reading about the crafts I love to do from a perspective so different than mine. My only problem is that I can't jump in the car and go visit the many fabulous shops that are featured. I will admit, the cover price is a bit high, but in my opinion worth it.
